Dear all,
right now I simulating a coolant system using a centrifugal blower and apply the approach described here https://help.autodesk.com/view/SCDSE/2019/ENU/?guid=GUID-3A7C57BB-7B81-4B8B-B4B0-7A1BADE0DB2B by using a predefined fan speed and volume flux. The results look reasonable from physics perspective and get in the simulation summary also the following feedback:
*** Data for internal centrifugal fans/blowers/pumps
Fan Part Id = 10 Fan Name = VORGABE GEBLäSE
Operating Pressure Rise = -21.7465 Pa
Operating FlowRate = 896694 cubic mm/sec
Question:
Who can give me some more background of the simulation approach behind of this centrifugal blower momentum source model. Especially from where does the Operating Pressure Rise = -21.7465 Pa is coming from?
My assumption:
The momentum sources of the centrifugal blower are part of the solving process. The momentum sources are adjusted as long as the predefined volume flux and fan speed can balance the pressure drop of the coolant system I consider.
In advance many thanks for any feedback/help.
Regards,
Stephan
